IT Support Engineer

Up to £31,000 Plus Training, Pension, 23 Days’ Holiday, Term-Time Lunches As a leading technology provider, our client uses the latest technologies to manage and maintain their customers’ IT systems. Operating at the forefront of their industry, they work very closely with a range of schools and colleges and are now looking to recruit an IT Support Engineer who will be site based at a leading independent school in Chelsea London. This will suit someone with a passion for all kinds of technology, backed with the patience to help people of all levels of technical competence. The role is varied and interesting, working with leading technologies in an independent school who are investing substantially in enterprise grade infrastructure to support next generation teaching and learning. As an IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for resolving all user support issues, as well as administration of the school’s network and IT systems.
 
To be considered for this role, you will need: - A demonstrable stable work history within the IT industry 
- Experience of installing, supporting and administering technologies 
- A degree level qualification in an IT related discipline 
- To reside within a commutable distance of the Chelsea area (or be willing to relocate) Experience of supporting and administering some of the following technologies is also essential:  - Windows 10, Microsoft Office 2013 / 2016 and Office 365 
- Microsoft Server 2012r2 / 2016
- Wired and wireless networks, firewalls and content filters   
- PCs, Laptops, mobile devices and audio-visual systemsMost importantly, as an IT Support Engineer, it is essential that you are a clear and logical thinker with a quality approach to customer service.
