Hours: f/t 37.5 pw This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development of a key electronic system at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (STH), one of the largest NHS Trusts in the country. You'll liaise with the supplier to manage the agile development of parts of the Trust's EPR (Electronic Patient Record), to provide enhancements which meet the Trust's business needs, assist in clinical management and facilitate user requirements. The In collaboration with clinicians, the STH Digital Team and the supplier, you'll manage the complete life-cycle of these changes, from concept to delivery. The EPR is critical to the Trust's digital transformation, allowing vital patient information to be shared with clinicians and care providers, to facilitate safe, high quality patient care. We're need to recruit a highly motivated business architect, who can work proactively to identify and evaluate system enhancements and manage these enhancements through to delivery. Applicants should have experience of business planning, systems analysis and system development, with a record of identifying and delivering system changes to meet business needs. Ideally, you'll have extensive experience of an EPR system, including experience of rolling out an EPR. Applicants should have a good knowledge of the structure of databases and of SQL. Knowledge of messaging standards (e.g. HL7) and an understanding of web-forms and Windows forms would be beneficial. You must be educated to degree level or have equivalent experience.
