Senior Mechanical Design EngineerSouthampton, HampshireThe CompanyOur client is an international manufacturer in the high-tech industry. They are currently looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join the team at their site in Southampton.The Rewards- Salary c£47,000 per annum

The remaining 10% will be spent mentoring two Mechanical Design Engineers and supporting their work.Additionally, you will:- Use 3D CAD (SolidWorks) to design new solutions as part of our exciting new product development or modify existing designs to improve performance
- Undertake BOM generation, design solutions (with particular attention to thermal management) and use FEA to analyse stress
- Collaborate across multi-site and multi-disciplinary teams under time pressure or challenging circumstances
- Support other areas within the business using your technical expertise and work with external suppliers and service providersAbout YouTo be considered as the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will need:- Mechanical design engineering experience gained in a high-tech manufacturing business
- Experience of mentoring others
