Data Architect - Merseyside My Global client with offices based in the Cheshire area are looking to Recruit a Data Architect to work within the Data Base and Analytics team managing SQL Sever Data Bases both on Premise and hosted in Azure. As a Data Architect you will play a key role in Data Management strategy, working to develop, maintain and enhancing Data Architecture for their Data Warehouse, Data Marts, Data Models, BI initiatives and ERP environment. Responsibilities include:Design, build, and maintain numerous Data Warehouses and complex SQL databases along with other data systems such as; like Oracle or Dynamics 365, on a global, enterprise levelHelp develop and implement strategies for data acquisitions, archive recovery, and data divestment that will improve business performanceManage major stakeholders and support business partners in order to identify and develop data solutions that are in-line with business requirementsSteer the direction of database and BI developers to meet the business and technical requirements on various projectsBuild and Maintain complex Data Models, and produce Data Model Reviews Key Skills:A background of producing data models along with strong database development within cloud and on premise data setsCommercial experience in the process of extracting data from multiple sources within a warehouse environmentExperience in generating data warehouse frameworks and performance tuning of a data warehouseExperience in using data modelling tools including; Erwin, SQL Enterprise, Power Designer or any other similar toolsExperience managing projects and frameworkStrong communication / Stakeholder management skills This is an in house role paying a salary of £70,000 along with a number of benefits and opportunities to further your career with supported training and certification along with various career paths to choose from.
