We're currently working on behalf of a growing financial services organisation, who are looking for a permanent Senior Agile Project Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team, with excellent career progression prospects and high earning potential.As an Agile Project Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of a variety of exciting and extremely technical projects which will enhance my clients ability to capture, manage and present data to business users. They are in the process of leveraging Big Data tools to give us a state of the art data platform. You must be able to work in an Agile way, acting as a scrum master role. You will organise stand ups and other Agile ceremonies as and when required, ensuring the team adheres to practices and rules.

Key AccountabilitiesStrongly serving and supporting the Product Owners and Development Teams in their quest to do everything possible to delight our internal customers.Project managing key Data Platform initiatives across both the new Data Platform and the legacy Data Warehouse environments.Be able to operate in a hybrid software delivery environment with either a deliverable focus or priority of scope focus.Tracking all project dimensions using RAID tools and techniques and communicating and tracking dependencies across programme or with other external projects.Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to aid the removal.Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis of healing and problem solving.Facilitating getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work.Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information.Supporting the Product Owner, especially with respect to refining (aka grooming) and managing the product backlog.Adherence to Agile development best practice. Essentials Experience with JIRA and Confluence to manage and document work.Strong interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building.Experienced on IoT OR Data Platforms Projects Experience holding stand ups and working in a fully Agile enviroment Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands.Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs (or ability to obtain this) with the ability to establish/maintain high level of customer trust and confidence.Proven ability to lead software development projects and ensure objectives, goals, and commitments are met.Familiarity of Project Management in a Lean/Agile environment.Experience in delivering projects in a more classical environment (e.g. Prince2) with ability to manage project financials.Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.A good understanding and appreciation of emerging technology.Excellent MS Office skills, in particular with Excel for resource analysis and tracking.
