It's a fantastic time to be joining them as an IT professional, and they are now recruiting for a Midlands-based IT Field Support Engineer.DescriptionAs the IT Field Support Engineer, you will cover sites across the Midlands, largely taking responsibility for on-site IT issues, to a wide and varied userbase.You will operate in a predominantly Windows environment, dealing with troubleshooting of areas including Windows 10, the Office suite, Active Directory and Exchange.The role will be very hands-on, and you will work on physical projects, such as office setups, and hardware and software deployments on-site.You will deal with users on a face-to-face and remote basis, so will be communicating on a regular basis with both technical and non-technical end-users.In terms of the split of the working week, three days per week will be spent locally working from the Halesowen HQ, offering both remote and face-to-face support, with one day spent on a regional site to build relationships within the organisation, and one day working from home, so lots of flexibility in a high-trust working environment.You will work as part of a regional team, so will have other like-minded colleagues around you at your level, as well as a wider IT function that covers areas such Infrastructure, Design and Delivery, so the progression opportunities into Management and Technical areas are excellent.ProfileAs the successful candidate for the IT Field Support Engineer vacancy, you will be experienced in:Windows 7 and 10.Active Directory.Exchange / Office365.SCCM.Printer, PC and laptop setups.Cisco router and switch support.Job Offer£28,000 - £34,000 + company vehicle + benefits.
