Junior C# Software Engineer / C# Web Developer - Complex Systems!

I am looking for a Junior C# Software Engineer / Web Developer (C# and/or ASP.NET) to join a stable, secure and highly profitable organisation based in St Albans, Hertfordshire. As a Graduate Software Engineer / Web Developer with my client you will gain exposure and regularly use the following: C#, ASP.NET MVC4/5, AngularJS, SignalR, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Cassandra, WCF, Web API, NUnit, TDD, OOD, AJAX, HTML5, CSS3, WebSockets, Sockets, Multithreaded, Low Latency, Real Time Systems, TeamCity, JavaScript, jQuery and/or Agile/Scrum. Over time you will be able to focus your time on your particular areas of interest and mould your career!

This role offers the full package for a Graduate Software Engineer / Web Developer to immerse themselves in the very latest techniques by working side by side with senior developers on real life projects. You will also get the chance and opportunity to spend time researching new tools, tech and approaches my client could be using to improve their offerings.

If you are someone who is passionate about problem solving and writing code, my client can offer you the tools and coaching to grow and progress in software development. Skills required for the role of Junior C# Software Engineer / Web Developer are:A passion for coding and problem solvingA strong academic background (Excellent A - Levels and a 2:1/1st Class degree from a Top Tier University, likely to be in Computer Science, Computing, Maths or Physics) An A in Maths would also be beneficial.Any exposure or experience of any of the following would be of interest but by no means essential as full training will be provided: MVC4/5, AngularJS, SignalR, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Cassandra, WCF, Web API, NUnit, TDD, OOD, AJAX, HTML5, CSS3, WebSockets, Sockets, Multithreaded, Low Latency, Real Time Systems, TeamCity, JavaScript, jQuery and/or Agile/ScrumA thoughtful, pragmatic and open attitude to how to solve different complex problems using different solutionsMy client is investing heavily in new solutions and technology at the moment so can offer a varied and challenging working environment as well as career opportunities and training for the future.

Junior C# Software Engineer / Web Developer - Complex Systems!

Salary: £35-50k (depending on experience) + bonus (to 10%+) + pension (4% contrib.) + 25 days holiday (rises to 30) - 35 hour week, work/life balance (Table Tennis/Darts)

Location: St Albans, Hertfordshire - commutable from London, close to the train station (20 mins from Kings Cross)
