We have a strong team of marketeers, designers, developers, account managers and sales folk - we're looking to strengthen our team with a confident, friendly and enthusiastic appointment setter who can identify opportunities where a prospect's website or digital marketing strategy could be improved, that's where we come in!

The Role Business Development Appointment Setter

Day to day activities will heavily involve sourcing leads, finding opportunities, making contacts and selling our services, qualifying leads and setting appointments for the leadership team to meet with the decision maker.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of digital marketing and the industry. You should possess demonstrable experience of making business to business calls in a confident and professional manner - without the use of a strict script. You will be required to track your calls and keep an updated pipeline and report on the status of this pipeline weekly.

This position would suit an individual with a strong work ethic, with a confident and resilient personality. Attention to detail, quick learning, sound commercial awareness, good communication skills and the ability to hit the ground running are essential.

Responsibilities:

+ Lead generation and appointment setting through outbound, strategic and targeted prospecting
+ Achieve a targeted number of appointments from a set number of outbound calls
+ Solely responsible for lead generation and appointment setting - this includes sourcing via cold calling or your preferred lead gen method
+ Identify opportunities that may require live transfer to wider team
+ Develop in-depth knowledge of the digital marketing industry and our core products/services to gain a good understanding of clients' needs
+ Generate and make appointments with agreed KPIs
+ Possess drive, motivation and acute attention to detail in ensuring all sales opportunities are captured and explored
+ Managing and maintaining a pipeline
+ A thorough understanding of clients marketing objectives including their return on investment (ROI) objectives
+ You will effectively interact with other departments including the account management and technical team when handing over campaigns ensuring you fully and correctly brief in all aspects of the sale
+ Keeping abreast of issues affecting search engine marketing companies and the search engine industry and collecting competitor intelligence
+ Ensuring First Internet remains proactive and responsive to prospective clients

+ Ability to use own initiative and pay close attention to detail
+ Strong communication skills in all forms including written, oral, email, telephone, and presentation
