Our Client build and manage complex engineering projects that reimagine how people work and live in the built environment. Our determination and focus enable us to deliver leading-edge construction solutions across a range of key sectors including Data Centres, Healthcare and Life Sciences.I am looking to recruit a Planning Manager to engage in a permanent position in Sweden for a major Data Centre Client.You will repsonsible for:Managing the planning function of construction projectsPrepare and implement project schedules for Engineering, Procurement Construction and Commissioning activities for all disciplinesCoordinate with each discipline supervisor or project engineer and monitor progress of work on site on a daily basisMaintain and update all schedules, collecting actual data (progress, manpower and equipment deployment) and evaluate project progressMonitor and analyse contractors' baseline programme and status updates, and report to the Project Managers on any updates, delays or critical activitiesDevelop detailed work plans, activities and tasks for project and A&A worksPrepare weekly and monthly progress reports, including progress updates in Gantt chart view, and resource/cost histogramsMaintain records for all significant events relevant to contractual claims/obligationsRequired:Commited to working in Sweden with Bi-monthy return flights includedDiploma/Degree in Civil Engineering/Building with minimum 8 years of relevant experience at managerial levelMinimum 8 years of experience as a plannerAt least 5 years of relevant working experience in large-scale development projectsStrong relevant experience, managing full scale construction stages in european countries, preferably Data Centre buildsPrior construction/engineering design experience preferred To find out more about Huxley Engineering, please visit www.huxleyengineering.comHuxley Engineering, a trading division of SThree Partnership LLP is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy | Registered office | 1st Floor, 75 King William Street, London, EC4N 7BE, United Kingdom | Partnership Number | OC387148 England and Wales
