Java Developer - AWS/Microservices (Remote) Experis are working closely with a dynamic and fast-growing Software Consultancy who are expanding their Glasgow development team. You will be responsible for developing large scale Java applications within a DevOps environment utilising cloud technology like AWS. This company have plans to triple in size in the next 3 years and increase their Scottish presence. This position will involve occasional travel to client sites in the West Coast of Scotland, however the role will be mainly remote based. Responsibilities Developing Java applications within an Agile environmentWorking closely with DevOps engineers and AWS ArchitectsTravelling to customer sites and attending meetingsGathering requirements and liaising with team Essential skillsStrong experience developing Java applications in a commercial environmentAn understanding of DevOps along with relevant technologiesCommercial experience working within an Agile team Nice to haveExposure to cloud technologies - AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google CloudTDD experienceKnowledge of Microservices architectureAPI Development experiencePrevious consultancy experience Why work here?
