Network Engineer£45'000-£50'000PermanentIsle of ManImmediate startAre you an experienced Network Engineer looking for the next exciting step in your career?Would you like to work for a leading Gas company on the Isle of Mann with the opportunity to travel?On offer is an immediately available role for an experienced Network Engineer to join this well-established company in a technically interesting role.In this role you will be responsible for all engineering design & specification, maintenance tasks and capital projects relating to IEG Natural Gas, LPG and LPG/Air Networks, meters, PRI's and associated plant and equipment.

The role:* Acting as IEG Network Controller to ensure the safe control of operations across IEG's Natural Gas, LPG and LPG/Air Networks* Designated Project Manager for IEG Capital Maintenance/Growth relating to Network fixed assets* Responsible for Mains & Meter Asset Management across IEG, ensuring replacement programs are specified and controlled effectively* Responsible for Esri ArcGIS, Network Analysis (GasWorks) and MRPS, ensuring accurate data is captured into the GIS for interpretation and analysis.* Developing IEG's Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to ensure all Network & Meter maintenance tasks are specified to maximise; compliance, performance, integrity and efficiency* Ensuring the CMMS is utilised to provide the Asset Management Function with key performance indicators that demonstrate asset performance, integrity and efficiency and add value to IEG* Ensuring asset risk is reduced by managing the scheduling of preventative and reactive maintenance tasks across IEG Natural Gas, LPG and LPG/Air Networks & Meters* Responsibility for specifying the Network & Meter maintenance required during the planning stages of all capital projects across IEG* Providing expertise and consultancy to staff and business customers alike regarding matters associated with asset maintenance standards The person:* Chartered Engineer approved by the British Engineering Council* Undergraduate degree (equivalent) or higher in engineering field or 10 years + experience in Gas Industry* Industry level health and safety qualifications (IOSH/NEBOSH)* Industry level project management certification* Experience working within Gas Distribution in line with IGEM Technical Standards* Over 5 Years professional experience in an engineering and asset maintenance environment* Experience leading operational teams* Experience in remote team management* Possess a strong sense of purpose and ability to influence* Strong decision making ability This role is for an immediate start. please send an up-to-date CV ASAP to Sarah Hibberd.
