Role Summary:

DOC INSPECTIONPHYSICAL INSPECTIONNDT INSPECTIONVISUAL INSPECTIONKey Activities:

DOC INSPECTION: Ability to verify supplied docs meet company requirements & applicable product specs + appreciation of how to trace supplied parts back to individual serial/lot nos. to raw material mill certs.PHYSICAL INSPECTION: Ability to carry out first principle measurements using: callipers, micrometres, shadowgraphs, rules, gauges, etc. must be able to read technical drawings without any help/assistance.NDT INSPECTION: Preference for individual to have current or previous qualifications in the following NDT measurement techniques: - LPI, MPI, PMI & Hardness checks.VISUAL INSPECTION: Experience visually inspecting Oilfield Equipment for damage/marks/dents/corrosion against relevant specs. must also have recent acuity (Eye) test results available.Essential responsibilities:

Responsible for ensuring Supplier documentation uploaded onto Baker Hughes supplier interface portal is reviewed & approved or rejected within 48hrs.

Accurately description reason for doc rejection when applicable to supplier via portal (copy Buyer)

Report/highlight Supplier with consistently high failure rates to Quality Leadership such that appropriate action can be taken.

Physically inspecting parts when once shipped to the clientQualifications / Requirements:

Min 10yrs experience in Oil & Industry working in a technical capacity (e.g. Fitter, Engineer, QC)Min 5yrs experience as QC Inspector in Oil & Gas industryTechnical Qualifications/background/trainingNDT qualifications: - LPI & MPI (Also, competent carrying out PMI & Hardness Checks).Desired characteristics:

Previous experience using Oracle ERP platform desirable.
