Deployment Manager (Windows 10 Deployment)

The Role

Our client is looking for a Deployment Manager to support a large-scale roll out currently taking place. This will involve refreshes, migrations, upgrades and ensuring users are using the correct equipment. The responsibilities of the Lead Deployment Manager are to define the end to end Device Deployment solution based on the customer's requirements, to plan activity and to drive performance during the project lifecycle. The Lead Deployment Manager will work closely with the Authority's representative to validate Device Deployment deliverables and will work with multiples stakeholders to implement and deliver the solution nationally.

Key ResponsibilitiesOverall responsibility for the management and delivery of implementation within the project scope.Co-ordinate & mange the Delivery Project Managers,Providing leadership and guidance to the regional Deployment Managers and other team members as required,Ensures that project scopes and high-level requirements based on an approved project are agreed with both the Authority and Atos,Responsible for acting as the escalation point for regional Deployment Managers, the Authority, and other Atos representatives regarding implementation issues, as appropriate,Responsible for collation of data from weekly reports, balancing comments and identifying appropriate issues for escalation within those reports,Ensure all implementation handovers to live support are monitored, ensuring that Installation Team Leaders report all outstanding incidents via an authorized sign off documentAid continuous service improvement by implementing lessons learntTravelling to sites to validate users are using correct devices and equipmentSupport Desktop and Windows 10 deploymentsWork with engineers to check for issues with networks or devices and ensuring the engineers complete the required workLiaise with client representatives and Incident Coordinators to discuss migrations

Key SkillsTechnically literate - you are not required to do the hands on technical work, but you will need to be able to advise whether an issue is down to the network, server, device, application etc. The engineers will then carry out the hands-on technical workHelpdesk background would be idealExperience working on desktop deployments is nice to haveClient facing experience
