Role - IT / Technical Lead Support Engineer

The Role:

A driven Technical Lead Engineer is required to help with IT initiatives on site for an initial 6 months.

Successful candidate will be supporting Server 2008 to 2016 migrations, working / liaising with IT support vendors as required and assisting with any objectives set to meet needs of business.

Scope of work and skills required:-

- self motivating and ability to problem solve and use own initiative to deliver prioritised objectives.

- excellent communication skills to deal with multiple vendors and internal contacts in a world wide based.

- windows 7, 10, server 2008, 2012, 2016, 2019 (virtual, physical, hyper v, Iscsi connected storage MSA) SQL 2012 and 2016.

- understand network protocols and complete firewall port and communication exceptions to pass to dedicated firewall team.

- work internal Call systems (service now) follow internal Workflows and procedures.

- tenacity to keep pushing teams and tickets to deliver business objectives.

- ability to multi task and prioritise is essential.
