Web Content Editor

Preston

£15-£18 per hourOur client based in Preston are searching for a Web Content Editor for an initial 3 month contract.

Role profile-

To work under the direction of the Engagement and Digital Services Manager, for the development and management of the organisations public websites and staff intranet systems websites including content, functionality, analytics, hosting and security provisions.Knowledge & Experience-

* Experience of managing websites and content for a large organisation.

* Experience of devising and implementing web development plans.

* Experience of working with Content Management Systems including Umbraco and Wordpress.

* Knowledge of web hosting and web servers, specifically Windows 2008 and Microsoft Azure.

* Proven experience of using website metrics and analysis to make recommendations for website improvements.Key responsibilities-

* To manage the Organisations main websites and additional websites within the portfolio.

* To work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure web services deliver business benefits and enhance demand management.

* To keep up to date with web technology within the public and private sectors to ensure the organisation benefits from best practice and continues to innovate.

* To work with other members of the Media and Engagement team to develop creative content including text, images and videos for web.
