This IT Managed Services Company is looking for an enthusiastic and trustworthy Helpdesk Engineer.

The Job

One of their long-term clients in the city centre is wishing to outsource day-to-day IT operations to themselves and concentrate on bespoke applications for the organisation. This role will work closely with their IT department and their helpdesk.

Goals

- Migration of clients helpdesk to their helpdesk

- Ensuring all their staff are comfortable with clients setup

- From January 2020 you will be working four days a week onsite at the client's office and spend another day back at their office

- Create and promote self-help guides and systems for clients staff

- Reduce the need for an onsite presence to only a couple sessions a week over the coming months

- Rotate with other IT staff while maintaining a good relationship with the client

From now to next year

- Get up to speed with them and how they support clients

- Work on the helpdesk

- Get to know the client, see projects they need to deliver

- Understand their services and products

- Become part of the helpdesk team!

Projects

Along with senior members of the team, you'll have the opportunity to help with the client's IT upgrades that they have already started.

- Server migration

- Network upgrade

- Telephone replacement

- Internet connection replacement

- Firewall upgrades

- Office 365 updates

- Backup and recovery

- Security Solutions
