Enterprise Data Architect - Analytics "The world's most valuable resource is no longer oil, but data." Something you've probably known for a while, but with that in mind, it's no surprise that more and more organisations are starting to take Data seriously and now taking real ownership of theirs. So if you're an Enterprise Data Architect who understands the importance of the ability to deliver analysis and insights for data across the entirety of an organisation; particularly from the perspective of delivering self-service analytics through from decision automation to data management. Then this is a role that will enable you to provide a truly innovative approach to data across one of the UKs largest organisations. There isn't one department or process that will not benefit from using Analytics across the business, from simple management information reports through to interactive marketing messages provided to support key business applications. This role is going to be one of the most challenging in this team as they look to create a near real time view of their core integrated information assets with a rich set of self-service and operational analytics services that will meet the ongoing changing needs of the entire business.

Analytics will play a key role in how they transform the estate from legacy hindsight based intelligence on islands of data; to a joined up intelligence based on fresh information - they will need to understand how to enable the business for smarter decisions using intelligence available from their growing data assets.
