Who will you be working for? RPS provide project delivery and tailored PMO services, helping our customer's projects go from concept to completion. Our project delivery services are custom tailored to meet individual needs, whilst drawing on broad market experience and proven methodology from a variety of sectors including Media, Banking and Central Government. What will you be doing? As a core member of RPS's Project Management Team, you will working within the Policy Team's service design as we have been asked to provide support to bridge the gap between the technical and policy teams and resolve several current design issues. As the service architect you will be developing service requirement documentation as well as templates. Using your Exceptional Service Architect skills, you will deliver and support the service design within the division. Also ensuring that you raise understanding of good Service Architecture Practice. To be seriously considered, please have the following regarding: The challenges facing the UK Government in the preparations to leave the EU are unparalleled. Whilst we hear about it in the news every day, the enormous amount of work required to get us there is quite a challenge. Due to the associated unprecedented level of change required, this Central Government Department has requested that Reed Professional Services (RPS) aid with raising the level of Project and Programme Management expertise within the organisation, working particularly on the EU Exit programmes. In order to further compliment the team delivering these programmes, RPS have an exciting opportunity for a Service Architect to join our team of experts in ensuring the success of the projects. Experience: Demonstrable success in similar roles working on Digital Projects of this scale and complexity, ideally on a consultancy basis with prior experience in working with Central Government Functions. You will have experience in driving multiple projects forward to successful delivery and be able to coach and mentor project teams. Skills: Experience of creating end to end process apps will be essential as well as experience creating and experience reporting on service architecture progress. Being able to demonstrate a substantial amount of experience working as a Service Architecture will be ideal. ITIL Environment Specialist.Characteristics: There's frequent internal and external stakeholder management involved, so you should be a compelling and considered influencer, with a consultative and approachable demeanour that will enable your team to deliver to the best of its ability.
