The Civil Nuclear Constabulary (CNC) is a unique force in British policing. We're the specialist armed unit in charge of protecting civil nuclear sites and nuclear materials in England, Scotland and Wales. Our mission is to deter any threat to nuclear material, whether on a civil nuclear site or in transit. To do so, we work with local police services, nuclear regulators and central government. Counter terrorism is also a major part of our role.
The nature of our work is of national importance. That's why we equip our people to excel and handle any threat. It also makes our officers among the most highly trained officers in the country. Now, we're looking for an Aftercare Supervisor to be part of this exceptional team, safeguarding the nation.
In this exciting new position, it will be your job to support and develop CNC's culture of highly effective ongoing personnel security. As you can imagine, this is about safeguarding the integrity of our processes and practices. But it's also about safeguarding the integrity of our people. Simply, you'll be countering the insider threat and keeping our workforce motivated, engaged and productive.
To apply, you'll need to understand the National Security and Police vetting processes. Plus, you'll have the ability to research, analyse and investigate issues relating to personnel security. And, we'll be safe in the knowledge that we can rely on you to make informed decisions.
Naturally, you're a good communicator, both verbally and in writing. It's also crucial that you're experienced in developing and delivering security awareness programmes, and you understand the investigative and interviewing process.
In return for your experience and hard work, we'll give you everything you need to make every day exceptional - a fantastic range of benefits, training and development opportunities.
