Java Developer / Software Engineer (JVM AWS CI/CD microservices). Would you like to work on complex and interesting systems that provide daily challenges; collaborate with a friendly and upbeat team and improve your skills whilst enjoying a good work / life balance?

As a Java Developer you'll focus on backend development of large distributed systems with challenges around scalability and reliability. The platform will deliver real-time sporting video content and statistical data via a multitude of devices and formats to both B2B and B2C clients. You'll be working in a collaborative, technology driven environment with a range of modern development practices including Continuous Deployments to the cloud environment; making technology decisions and contributing to product strategy.

You will be based in new offices based in West London with a bright and spacious working environment and outside space used for meetings / breakouts.

Requirements:

*Strong web based Java development experience

*Experience of working on large scale, distributed systems with scalability challenges

*Experience working with and deploying to cloud services (especially AWS and Google Cloud Platform)

*Experience or desire to work with Video on Demand services (e.g. FFmpeg, HLS) and learn Scala

*Familiar with microservices and CI/CD

*Collaborative team member with excellent communication skills

As a Java Developer you will earn a highly competitive salary (to £75k) plus bonus and benefits.
