£215 per dayA Project Manager is required for our public sector client based in Chester.The successful candidate is required to work as part of a team, to plan, co-ordinate and project manage the implementation of programmes of work and IT projects that impact upon the organisation.Main Duties-

-You will provide the required skills and be responsible for the production and maintenance of a strategic roadmap of IT initiatives across Merseyside, Cheshire and North Wales and you will support business change programmes that will enhance closer collaborative working and provide opportunities that support the benefits of a single records management platform.

-You will also define the requirements of nominated projects giving due consideration to IT implications and give due regard to the impact upon the business to ensure the efficiency of the proposed solution.

-You will be working in conjunction with the Co-Ordination Manager, Heads of IT, Business strands and Training teams so that resource requirements can be identified and projects delivered successfully.

-You will successfully coordinate the projects, quantifying the project resources, tasks and associated activity to ensure successful implementation of projects, within required timescales, with clear business benefits.

-You will produce reports on the status of projects and programmes of work identifying clearly necessary changes due to re-specification.

-You will plan and manage testing and co-ordinate and maintain requests for change to ensure full compliance and to ensure appropriate control mechanisms are in place.

-You will liaise regularly with internal and external stakeholders to ensure they are sighted on the programme of works and projects to ensure and allow them to incorporate them into their internal change programmes, business processes or training plans.

-You will also manage the risks to the programmes or projects of work highlighting to the Programme Director to allow for appropriate actions to be put in place to ensure successful outcomes.

-You will also act as the single point of contact for single pieces of work to ensure that the request meets the objectives and to be responsible for collating business benefits realisation both from an operational perspective but also operational support within teams and departments.

-Finally, you will undertake all responsibilities relating to information management, data quality and information sharing, intelligence and information security.Knowledge & Experience--Qualifications Educated to degree level or equivalent and must have project management skills.

-Significant project management experience is essential and significant experience of implementing IT systems or similar projects as this role will require project management using different IT applications and with different business processes.
