£25,000-£32,000 + Training + Holiday + Pension + Flexible workingExcellent opportunity for an IT Support Engineer to join a well-established business offering excellent training and development opportunities, autonomy and responsible in your day to day role and a chance to make a name for yourself in the business through some technically interesting project work.This company are well established throughout Devon and Cornwall, they operate 11 sites throughout the regions. All IT is centralised in their Plymouth-based head office where they are now looking to invest money into their infrastructure, and upgrade and update a large amount of systems.In this role you will split your time between 3rd line support and project work. When fulfilling the support role you will dealing with issues that have been escalated from 1st and 2nd line support engineers, and liaising with suppliers to overcome any issues you can't resolve yourself. The other side of the job will be planning, designing and implementing infrastructure upgrades. You will work Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week.The ideal candidate will be confident relaying technical information and plans to senior management, who may not necessarily have a technical understanding.
