The Role

My client is looking for a Senior Developer with Azure Cloud experience to join the Integration Team within their IT department. You will be responsible for contributing to the current and future integration development activities within their Middleware team by developing, maintaining and supporting integration solutions between their major business systems. To do this you will need to be able to utilise Azure components such as API Manager, Logic Apps, Service Bus, and Azure Functions.

You will have strong development skills, be able to work independently and have the ability to contribute in a flexible and advanced team.

You should have experience of:

* Secure cloud integration development based around: Azure Service Bus, Logic Apps, API Manager, Azure Functions, Application Insights, Log Analytics.

* XML, Web Services, C#, Java, SQL, SOAPUI, and SQL Server.

* Source control tools such as Subversion, GIT, and Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS).

It would be an advantage if you also had exposure to, or knowledge of:

* Integration solutions via IBM Integration Bus and MQ in a large and complex support environment

* Cloud development via Amazon Web Services (AWS)

* Microsoft Flow, Power Apps, SQL Server Integration Services, Dynamics 365, and Azure Data Factory

You should be able to:

*Deliver high quality, cost effective Integration services in a large, multifaceted, environment.

*Maintain, enhance and support existing Integration functionality.

*Identify key deliverables, phrases and acceptance criteria and translate them into integration solutions.

*Coordinate, investigate, diagnose and resolve live technical incidents and system problems.

*Configure, develop, unit test, integrate and lead technical code changes in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders within the secure development lifecycle.

*Support the system and user acceptance testing processes and assist with systems implementation tasks.

*Document and direct the handover of software into business-as-usual (BAU).

*Evaluate and interpret end-to-end technical system designs and recommend changes to infrastructure, applications and / or products.

*Operate according to agreed Corporate security procedures and standards and contributing to their improvement where required.

*Plan own work and that of others, ensuring agreed delivery dates & service levels are met whilst working under pressure in a dynamic and changing environment.

*Research, understand and apply new technical tools, processes and technical developments to promote continuous improvement. An ability to challenge others, raise new ideas and standards.

*Deliver short term / one-off projects and activities as required by and to the standards and outcomes agreed with Line Manager.

*Participate in technical discussions on how best to model a solution.

*Work closely with the business community at all levels of the organisation to understand their goals and issues.

*Work both individually and as part of a team, taking responsibility and ownership of requirements and issues.
