Joining our Future Framing and Countryside Programme (FFCP), you will be part of a skilled team of professionals making sure our high-profile initiative delivers a bright future for UK farming. Reporting into the programme's director, you will lead our analysis teams and collaborate with Defra's 300-strong analytical community, delivering the cutting-edge evidence that forms the basis of our policy decisions across the board. You will also combine your expertise with other key contacts inside and outside of government, working together to support a modern and forward-thinking food and farming system. The role also offers the opportunity to take on vital leadership responsibilities, supporting your teams and inspiring them towards ever-improving results.
We are looking for candidates with extensive analytical and leadership experience, working across departments and organisations on complex projects. Naturally, you will be an outstanding communicator and collaborator, able to creative a positive working environment and develop team capabilities. You will bring keen analytical and strategic approach to your work, and confidently make sound decisions while delivering at pace.
