Part Qualified Pensions Actuary - Consulting
Edinburgh or Glasgow
£35000 - £45000 per annum
Our client, a rapidly expanding Actuarial Pensions Consultancy, is seeking to appoint an ambitious, driven Actuarial Trainee to join their consulting team in Edinburgh. This is fantastic opportunity for an Actuarial Student with 18 months experience to work alongside an experienced team in delivering high quality Actuarial advice to range of trustee and corporate clients
The role will involve a number of Actuarial & Trustee focused tasks including:
- Assisting with day to day client queries on nominated clients
- Calculating actuarial factors, funding updates
- Drafting letters, preparing information for trustee meetings, handling technical queries
The requirement
- Previous Actuarial work experience, preferably gained in the Pensions field
- Demonstrable understanding of Pensions Actuarial work
- Progress with Actuarial exams i.e. FFA, FIA
