Lead Full Stack Developer (Node Go JavaScript). Are you an experienced technologist looking to progress your career and remain hands-on with the code? You could be joining a rapidly expanding and innovative start-up that have created a unique digital streaming product used by a number of well-known company's including Eurostar.

 

As a Lead Full Stack Developer you will head up a small team (currently four engineers) working across the full technology stack from back to front end; the stack is comprised of Golang and Node on the backend with JavaScript and Vue.js on the client side. Partnering with the CTO you will have influence on core architecture decisions, development of the product and lead the team by example; driving best practice and collaboration.

Requirements:

Strong software engineering background ideally with Go / Golang and Node experience but Java is also fine as long as you're happy using Golang going forward

Good knowledge of web technologies: JavaScript, Vue.js ideally

Advocate of Agile development methodologies, experience of Sprint planning, Sprint reviews and retros

Experience of technical leadership / mentoring; collaborative and keen to help others develop as well as continually learning yourself

Nice to have: gRPC / Protobuf, Docker
