Lead Mechanical Thermal Analyst

Location: Cheltenham

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

Due to department growth and new projects, we are currently recruiting a Lead Mechanical Thermal Analyst to work within the Avionics division of a world-leading Engineering company. The company is listed on the FTSE250 and works in the defence and aerospace industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in thermal analysis of electronic components to be the technical guide for the team.

You will be responsible for -

· Conduct thermal analysis on electronic components (PCBs) within structural units and recommend design solutions

· Design, analysis and evaluation of individual and team projects

· Be the technical lead to multi-disciplinary teams across several projects

· Develop, recommend and implement action plans to resolve design issues

You will have the following-

· Experience of thermal analysis at electronics packaging level

· Experience in the aerospace industry would be desirable, but a similar industry would still be of interest

· Strong experience in an engineering position

· Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills

· Ability to manage several projects simultaneously

· Excellent problem solving skills
