Summary of key deliverables:Support the creation of the Deployable Battlefield Network Architecture by creating or updating relevant aspects of the Solution Design PackSupport the TRINITY Engineering TeamAdditional responsibilities:Provision of Technology Readiness Support for the TRINITY Project, including creating, managing and maintaining the Technology Management StrategyEssential experience:Strong knowledge of design of RF and deployed networks (note that this is a much broader skill-set than standard TCP/IP networking in a wired/Wi-Fi office/data-centre environment) Desirable experience:Deployed secure battlefield networks, such as BOWMAN or FALCONSkills:knowledge and experience of network instantiation in multiple form factors and capable of future growth with an open architecturethe design of secure networksknowledge and experience of innovative approaches to network design and meeting bespoke requirementsknowledge and experience of making technical design decisions and communicating their logic in a persuasive manner to non-technical managementknowledge and experience of stakeholder engagement at senior levelsknowledge and experience of managing change and development in requirementssupporting bid evaluation activities by providing assessment of likely capability impactsBackgroundTRINITY will be aiming to achieve Review Note (RN) approval by the end of March 2020. During this phase the project team will be striving to evidence the correct investment decision for the TRINITY solution.TRINITY requires multi-functional and dynamic support in project delivery. The Contractor shall actively up-skill the Authority in conjunction with participating and supporting - as required - TRINITY Project activities such as: attendance at meetings, governance and assurance activities (at all levels), support to tendering/ procurement activities, support to other project team functions and testing & acceptance.The Contractor shall produce evidence to support the Review Note submission and approval when requested by the Senior Project Manager(s), produce necessary briefing packs and presentational material to inform TRINITY stakeholders on progress and maturity of evidence for decisions and Provide Subject Matter Expertise and complete additional tasks when necessary to support production of business outputs across TacCIS. If necessary, additional tasks will be prioritised by the Authority against contract deliverables.The Contractor shall support the Authority's Senior Project Manager(s) in the management and delivery of the TRINITY Programme. The relevant TRINITY scope currently includes: TRINITY WAN, TRINITY LAD, TRINITY Telephony and Falcon Sustain.The Contractor shall prioritise attending in person, each Monthly TRINITY Checkpoint Meetings for the duration of the contract.The TRINITY Team wish to continue in, and build on, the successful collegiate working that has proven effective to date. As such, the Authority will expect the Contractor to collaborate fully with the existing team, and for the Contractor's Team to be led by the Authority's designated Work Package Lead.To note - all deliverables shall be in accordance with all relevant Authority policies, JSPs, processes and procedures, and subject to the Authority's approval.The supplier is expected to utilise their experience and knowledge of ISS working practices to assess the frequency and scale of meetings and stakeholder engagements to assess the scale of resource to meet individual requirements.
