System Engineer/Modeler - MATLAB

A Systems Engineer with experience of system modelling and algorithm development is required for a client based in Luton. Working to develop state-of-the-art airborne electronic sensor systems.

Candidates will be highly proficient in the use of mathematical modelling tools such as Matlab and Simulink. Knowledge of architecture frameworks tools (e.g. Enterprise Architect / Rhapsody) is also required. Prior experience working on Electronic Warfare, Radar Systems or Communication Systems would be beneficial to the position.

Responsibilities:

-Definition of requirements using DOORS

-Perform systems fucntional analysis

-Development of algorithms for data fusion and innovative processing methods

-Liaise with sensors and communications technical specialist teams to design mechanisms for control of the elements of the System

-Perform analysis and modelling to demonstrate the effectiveness of algorithms and control mechanisms.
