IT Support Analyst - 2nd Line Support

Leeds City Centre

5 month FTC

2nd Line Support Analyst required to maintain the IT systems, hardware and software through effective customer service, support and maintenance and ensure change is managed in line with procedures that deliver best practice.

As a 2nd Line IT Support Analyst you will be joining the Technology team based in the Head office in Leeds. Reporting to the IT Support Team Leader the successful candidate will possess strong people skills, Windows, Active Directory and Incident Management skills.

Key Accountabilities

*To provide support to the IT Service Desk

*Answer the phone to clients in a professional and efficient manner.

*Process customer escalation within 1 hour of receipt and ensure action is taken by the resolving team.

*To ensure that the IT systems are operational and available for use by the business as per agreed SLA.

*Provide 1st & 2nd line support for IT servers, desktop, communication and core business applications.

*Monitoring the use and performance of the IT systems and identify potential problems.

*Configuration and installation of all servers and desktop hardware, software and operating systems

Skills

*Significant experience in IT Support, change management and/or related functions.

*Degree or equivalent education with a combination of both professional and technical qualifications.

*Appropriate IT qualifications such as ITIL Foundation, MSCP.
