Application Support Technician (Biology)

With Rapid growth comes opportunity. We are currently looking for an experienced Application Support Technician to join an expanding team based in Watford. The Application Support Technician with qualifications in Biology will interact with customers globally, as well as with various internal departments including Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Product Management, to quickly and efficiently resolve customer level 3 software issues and complaints.

Role Overview

Provide support for software by answering customers level 3 technical calls/issues. Troubleshoot issues with customer IT/infrastructure software and hardware set up, connectivity problems and work through new issues that arise from upgrades, new operating systems and other changes that cause software issues. Prepare documentation for the web site and distributes internally for troubleshooting bugs and/or issues that arise at customer sites. Interact with customers via phone, email, or other messaging systems to help resolve technical issues and records all software issues and resolutions in a computer-based ticketing system and/or CRM. Manage complaints and information requests in Microsoft Dynamics CRM to ensure prompt resolution of customer needs and communicates the issues with the commercial team.

Salary: £50,000- £70,000+Bens
