Responsibilities
This role requires an individual with a high level of hands-on technical knowledge. You will be required to take strategic decisions relying on substantial and demonstrable prior delivery knowledge, calling upon detailed implementation level knowledge of large-scale national IT application systems. The individual will maintain current knowledge of and actively contribute to the latest IT thinking and practices.
You will lead the development, management and implementation of the Trusts systems, mobile apps development, web development, online development and income generation, support the ICT strategy including the necessary integration between systems, 999, IUC(111), Patient transport services and other health organisations.
In addition, the post holder will lead on the Trust electronic Patient Record (ePR) development and implementation of the Trust Mobile Strategy to support the Integrated Urgent and Emergency Care Strategy as well as the NHS Digital Strategy.
