Due to my client's continued success and growth, they have an exciting opportunity for an iSeries Support Team Lead.You will be responsible for managing the Application Support Team and will be responsible for maintaining or enhancing, and eventually decommissioning applications through the application life cycle.
As the iSeries Support Team Lead, you will be overseeing the activities which optimise the value, cost and risk of applications. You will also be expected to lead and prioritise the Application Support Team's work load and develop, co-ordinate and promote the effective functioning of problem management activities across the application support team.
Essential Knowledge:
- Proven ability of supporting various applications.
- Experience managing and maintaining windows services, windows applications, web applications etc.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL and Prince2 methodologies.
- Experience working in environments with some/all of the following applications:
IBM AS/400-iSeriesSQL & AS400 QueryRPG programmingFTP scriptingThis is an opportunity for you to join a globally recognised company who go the extra mile, and provide an industry leading employment package.
