Role and Responsibilites
You will play a key part of a systems, software engineering and electronics team working on project delivery, service provision and product development. The role encompasses bidding for, designing, implementing, testing, obtaining customer acceptance and after-sales support of systems for the International Defence and Industrial market sectors.
You will be involved in specific projects such as securing document and email management systems using advanced cryptography, development of hardware system interoperability and security products, On-going software change and test of a networked system and development of support software for my clients next generation of Vehicle Health and Usage Monitoring systems.
Key Skills
Skills in two Object-Oriented languages Java 8 and C#.Skills in Object-Oriented architecture design, software implementation, software build, software test and system integration.PKI Cryptography knowledgeKnowledge of MS Visual Studio.Desktop and Server application development knowledge.Good Software Configuration Management and Issue Management experience .Must meet UK MoD security vetting criteria.Ability to work in the UK with no restrictions.
Desirable Skills
Skills in additional languages e.g. C, C++ Python, or Perl.Java Cryptography ArchitectureUML (ideally SysML with Enterprise Architect)Big Data and Cloud.SQL/Database experience
