Cyber Crime Officer - National Cyber Crime Unit- BirminghamCompany: You'll be working for a Public Sector organisation offering specialist cyber capability and advice both internal and external stakeholders to achieve a common and shared operational objective.The Role: You will manage a team of experienced operational officers, providing them with regular operational guidance and working collaboratively, providing specialist tactical and technical investigative advice to stakeholders investigating cyber-crime across the UK.You will:Provide specialist tactical and technical investigative advice to stakeholders investigating cyber-crime across the UK.Use their skills, knowledge and / or experience to ensure that evidence is obtained correctly through the required legal framework (EIO, ILORs, RIPA, PACE, etc.).Work with internal specialist teams to leverage capability in support of Team Cyber UK investigations.Utilise intelligence-gathering opportunities to assist ROCUs / the organisation to achieve shared operational objectives.Develop partner relationships and seek to understand the key priorities of stakeholders, gaining their commitment by consultation and involvement.Mandatory Experience:Good understanding of UK and international legislation affecting Agency activity.Good understanding of cyber investigations utilising Hi Tech or internet based solutionsProven experience of investigating cyber crimeDesirable Experience:PIP 2 / IPP or an equivalent recognised qualification / accreditation issued by a Government bodyThe ideal candidate will hold police powersThe successful candidate will need to be experienced in cyber-crime investigation and intelligence-led investigationsFor you:Salary:- Salary up to £32,000Benefits:- 26 days annual leave + bank holidaysCompetitive pensionFlexible workingGenerous paid maternity/paternityChildcare benefitsInterest free loansUse on onsite facilities - gym, staff canteens etcOccupational sick payYou must be eligible for Security Clearance; British Citizen or ILR
