Python Software Engineer / Developer (Machine Learning AI R&D RESTful APIs microservices PoC). You're hands-on; data-driven. You break down barriers wherever necessary and champion technology. The start-up is dedicated to supporting and building market leading insurance underwriting / risk platforms. As a Python Software Engineer, you will gain exposure to all product strategy processes and have the opportunity for hands-on involvement across the entire business. You'll be working directly with the Product Owner on specific technology stacks, building prototypes and producing PoCs, setting the quality standard for new product development and delivery.

In this Python Software Engineer role you will work day to day with scrum teams to drive innovation, clarifying business requirements, removing roadblocks and communicating with relevant parties to gain alignment around feature or product strategy. You will also be responsible for analyzing and planning potential programs, feeding back to partners across functions as needed to coordinate projects.

Requirements:

You are fluent in Python. Knowledge of other languages (especially C#) is beneficial, but not essential

You have experience with Cloud software, Azure, RESTful APIs and microservices

You're a confident communicator, able to strongly collaborate with team members and facilitating innovative discussion so the best idea can win

You have an analytical mindset, able to lead efficient problem resolution as needed to maintain supreme level of service

Desirable: degree educated in relevant subject e.g. Engineering / Mathematics / Computer Science, some knowledge of insurance
