Technical Product Owner

Ownership of Security Solutions

Newcastle OR Southampton OR London

As a preferred partner to this well-established global financial services organisation we have been asked to assist in the hire of two permanent Security Solutions Specialist's to take full ownership of solutions and applications that sit within IT Security. This is a rare opportunity for individuals with no prior security experience to move laterally into this field.

You will be one of several Solutions Specialists working within the Security Solutions Team. Each team member specialises in their own solution, and the role holder will act as the primary solution specialist in their assigned security application / platform. You will also be required to act as a secondary specialist in another solution. No prior security experience is required.

Requirements / Experience

-Experience as a Technical Product Owner / Software Application Owner

-Infrastructure or Application Solution / Service Management

-Experience in Technical Project Management

-Experience of Cloud based SaaS and/or PaaS and Managing Vendors

-Understanding of Active Directory / AD

-Excellent technical ability and acumen (ideally across data related disciplines - APIs and Databases)

-Experience working within Agile teams and Agile Methodology

-Highly motivated and tenacious in performing duties

-Able to influence senior stakeholders and work across different groups / divisions

-Willingness to adapt to changes in technology and support the wider team

It is expected the role holder will act as a specialist for an Identity and Access Management (IAM/IDAM) solution, however you may act as a specialist in any solution covering Vulnerability Management, Security Operations and Cyber and Threat Intelligence.

Our client can be flexible on which office location the role holder will work from. The current team is spread predominantly across two locations, Newcastle and Southampton, so there is a preference for these locations. However, the client is comfortable to consider those who may wish to be based out of London.
