Project/Intermediate Quantity SurveyorMain Contractor | Hertfordshire | up to £55,000 plus package A main contractor based in Hertfordshire are looking for a Project/Intermediate to come on board and work across projects across the area.Working within a Commercial team consisting of around 10 staff (including Managing QSs down to graduates), you will be overseeing projects in all major build sectors. This company is a dynamic, forward thinking contractor that don't want their business or their staff to be pigeon-holed into one sector and pride themselves on their varying works, and the opportunity they give to their staff to gain exposure to a wide range of works.

Projects are generally £2-5m and depending on experience, you'll be given the opportunity to work across a few at a time, based from their Hertfordshire offices (you would be travelling to site maybe twice a week!).This is a company that don't hold their staff back when they're ready to take on new responsibilities. With the Directors of the company working out of the same office as the staff, it's a tight-knit team that offer clear progression opportunities. The Managing Director began his career at the company as a labourer and has worked his way up, and the current Managing QS began as a graduate and has worked his way up to MQS in 9 years!
