Report Writer and Support Analyst (Crystal Reports, SQL)

Sheffield/Leeds

£25K - £30K DOE + Car allowance

My client, a well established and respected manufacturing firm are seeking a Report Writer and Support Analyst to support their offices in Sheffield, Leeds and the North East.

Your role will be to manage and support their internal ERP system. This will include development of reports using Crystal Reports, SQL Server 2008/2106 and SSRS.

You will support multiple sites and work closely with the management team to manage the database, fix any issues that arise and create new reports. Your role will include but not be limited to:

*Liaise with department managers to identify and fully understand reporting requirements.

*Create specifications, build test and implement new reports.

*Manage data including data imports and exports and data validity reviews, communicate regularly with relevant staff/departments.

*Specify, design and communicate additional system solutions to business.

When required you will also be expected to provide 2nd line support to cover Infrastructure, Desktop, Laptops and associated peripherals. You will be part of a small but business crucial team aiding users and colleagues with day to day support tasks as well as project related work.

The ideal candidate will have a background supporting large IT environments, preferably within a manufacturing or production space. A good mix of skills in Microsoft technologies and knowledge of Cisco Networking/ Telephony would certainly be favored. It is also imperative that you can converse with both IT and non-IT personnel and be comfortable working on the shop floor when required.

Key Skills include experience with;

*SAP Crystal Reports Xi

*SQL Server 2008/2016

*Windows (XP, 7,8,10)

*General IT Hardware maintenance (pc's, Laptops, Printers etc…)

*A fast learner, able to pick up new tech and working with bespoke tools and Software

*Disaster recovery

Other beneficial skills include;

*SSRS

*Business Reports experience

Due to the nature of the role and location of their offices it is essential that you have your own vehicle and hold a full UK Driving License.
