Spring Technology is currently looking for an experienced 1st Line Support/Desktop Support engineer. This is a 3 month contract based in Warwickshire.
Looking for 1st / 2nd Line support experience, ideally more on the 2nd line if possible and device support eg mobile phones, desktops, laptops, general hardware.
Dealing with day to day break-fix issues
Deliver/install/upgrade desktops and laptops to schools across the county (access to own car essential)
Install/Configure printers as required
Carry out routine monitoring, logging and reporting tasks, taking defined action where appropriate
Provide advice and resolving IT issues where possible and escalating unresolved calls where necessary
Liaise with 3rd party companies on behalf of our customers
Assist users to make more effective use of systems, products and services, making detailed diagnosis of problems and advising known solutions where applicable
