Working with a leading financial services organisation who are expanding their automation usage and are keen to add a RPA Architect, on a permanent basis.Client DetailsFTSE 100 financial services comapnyDescriptionResponsible for the continual optimisation of the PTH Technology Toolkit, automation infrastructure and associated 3rd party relationships / licencing, ensuring technology within the Toolkit remains current, delivers value and is utilised in-line within contractual licencing agreements.Responsible for identifying and introducing new technologies into the Hub's 'toolkit' to broaden the Hub's automation service offering across L&G Group.Responsible for authoring and assuring architectural project deliverables including: Technology DesignAssessments, Technical Options Papers, High Level Designs, Change Requests, Impact Assessments, and where necessary technical roadmaps and strategy papers for the PTH.Solution Architect and provide technical governance on individual process assessments through to the design of end to end solutions which leverage the most appropriate technology to deliver the greatest business value.Act as a functional and technical expert for solutions, the application of automation technologies, and the interaction and integration of these within the wider L&G Group architecture to deliver effective and efficient solutions.Identify, evaluate and raise risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies that may impact PTH activities, proposing and executing mitigating actions where appropriate and compliance with L&G's agreed methodology, standards, policies and procedures to produce a consistent high standard of documentation and strong operational governance..Treating Customers Fairly (TCF): Ensure that all customers/stakeholders are treated fairly in line with Legal & General's principles on Customer Experience, Employee Engagement, Continuous Improvement and TCF policy.ProfileDesirable but not essential:TOGAF certifiedIIBA Certification of Competency in Business Analysis™ (CCBA®) Blue Prism ROM ArchitectGreen Belt Six SigmaExtensive knowledge of multiple automation applications within the PTH Technology Toolkit, including:Blue Prism Process & Object StudioXceptorDucoExtensive knowledge of Office software packages such as MS Office, Business Objects and MS AccessExperience in end-to-end solution designKnowledge of Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) and SQL (Transact & DB2) to build efficient, complex queries &Database ApplicationsFamiliarity with Python / Java / C/C++Understanding the Regulatory framework of the UK Financial Services industryExperience of working within Agile / DevOps environmentsUnderstanding of automation developmentUnderstanding of operating a production digital workforceExperience of establishing and scaling automation functionsJob OfferUp to £95,000 + Bonus + BenefitsLondon
