PHP Developer | Sheffield| £35kMy client are one of the UK's leading sports activity provider - with 60 locations around the country and serving resorts and cruise lines around the world. Working in a youth market, there is a contant need to update and develop their systems, use the latest technologies and integrate with new online services. You'll be part of a dynamic head-office team, with an energetic and positive work culture, located in our own building in a beautiful part of Sheffield. Key responsibilities:You will join a small department of developers, designers and digital marketing specialists who are responsible for all of the ecommerce brands online.Working alongside other developers and Manager's to ensure milestones are metKeep up to date with the latest technologies.Review and develop existing websites to ensure usability, best practice.Participate in project & deployment planning.Must be a self-starter & be able to work with supervision and guidance.Developing Mobile first.Experience:PHP: 2 years (Preferred)Javascript Desirable skills:Knowledge of AWSKnowledge of MVC frameworks and OO PHPMySql or equivalent database softwareLESS or SASS CSS pre-processingOverall you will need a keen eye for detail and possess a willingness to get hands on and learn from those around you, whilst also taking the initiative to learn on the job.
