Software Engineer (London Challenger Bank!)Salary - up to £80k + SharesSoftware Engineer - I am working closely with a challenger bank who are looking to simplify the industry providing banking services to anyone in the world, specifically without the need to provide proof of address documentation. They are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to build on their banking and financial services. The Software Engineer will be using Java 8+, built on top of a distributed systems architecture and deployed using Docker to AWS.As the Software Engineer you will:Work closely with product and design teams to define and scale new features and servicesGain exposure to modern technology including Java 8+, Kotlin, Microservices, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes and cloud computing with AWSHave the opportunity to work in highly collaborative close-knit team that work within a horizontal structureThe Software Engineer will be working with structured and highly test Java code with the aim to design and develop decoupled systems. As the Software Engineer, you'll be joining a company that invest highly in your career and interests. Movements internally are facilitated - they have a fraud team that work with a mixture of Machine Learning algorithms, a full-stack team working on data analytics and an IOS onboarding team working with Kotlin.Our products are already serving hundreds of thousands of customers throughout Europe and they're looking to expand office locations as well.
