We form part of the Manpower group of companies that turn over $20 billion a year collectively.Role OutlineThe Portfolio Finance Manager leads the management and analysis of data, process and governance pertaining to financial control for IT Infrastructure Delivery Portfolio & Programme Management Finance team, covering multiple projects across several large programmes.This role covers:Responsibility for the quality of financial reports and analysis, across portfolios within remitThe development of relationships with key stakeholders across internal / external functions.Lead, coach, train and develop employees, both on and off shore.Influence key financial stakeholders to drive efficiencies and effective utilisation of funds across regions and entities.Drive the execution of the annual budgeting process for portfolios within remit.Lead the monthly re-forecasting cycle for the entire community, drive adherence to deadlines and act as an SME to portfolios and provide advice and guidance as needed.Lead global financial governance forums with key senior stakeholders.Design and oversee plan to ensure that the team adheres to the period close timetable and meets all periodic close deadlines.Lead the implementation of changes in financial processes and controls across the entire community, as instructed by Head of Portfolio Services.Drive reporting requirements to enable informed senior management decisions based on accurate and timely data.Collaborate effectively with key decision makers on financial planning and its inherent risks, issues and opportunitiesInnovate to optimise financial processes and compiling reportsLead team responsible for the production and reporting of financial data processing and analysis and driving process efficiency within the governance framework.Continuously assess training needs around financials and address through appropriate mediums and forums, ensuring guidance documents and templates are up to date.Actively seek to minimise variances across the portfolio and drive accurate forecasting by regular communication with portfolio and project leads.Actively drive collaboration across various stakeholders from a demand, resourcing and financial perspective.Establish reputation as a Finance expert in related area of expertise, using extensive knowledge in markets and products of specialisationAccountabilities: Customers / Stakeholders: Provides key inputs in the delivery of highly complex and business critical change effort in accordance with industry best practices and methodologiesProvides timely updates for the Global/Regional/Business/FunctionsProactively monitors areas of financial risks and provide recommendation to mitigate them.Promotes adherence to Group standard financial governance and use of defined tools for processes and controls.Ensures the effective communication of governance and processes pertaining to financial management to impacted stakeholders including, budgeting and forecasting etc.Ensures key learning's are captured and feeds these back into the business to improve methodologies and share best practiceLeadership & Teamwork: Acts as inspirational role model for colleagues and line managers and contributes to developing its leadership talent and resourcing strategies.Maintain regular dialogue with Global / Regional Leadership teams in support of best practice initiatives and developments that will establish and maintain energised work environments.Proactively enhance, drive and execute guidelines that ensure that all programmes/projects are implemented in a manner that will ensure customer value, maximised revenues, and cost savings.Operational Effectiveness & Control:Maximise success in achieving its goals by improving the Project and Programme Management elements of the business environment including; AOP targets; Customer satisfaction goals; Risk and control management; Governance; Regulatory standardsLead the implementation of changes in financial processes and controls across the entire community, as instructed by Head of Portfolio Services.Certifications, Qualifications & ExperienceQualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA) or accounting education at degree level from a reputable institution with full understanding and working knowledge of forecasting of Cash, P&L, capitalisation processes and accruals/prepaymentsProven experience of managing monthly forecasting of $50M+ in an IT department of a large, global corporationExcellent stakeholder managementExcellent understanding of common project management terms and conceptsOrganised and structured way of workingChange Management experienceIf you have the above skills please submit your CV in the first instance.
