TEDI-London is an innovative new higher education institution in London wholly focused on engineering. It is co-founded by Arizona State University, King's College London, and UNSW Sydney.

TEDI-London will:

Establish a new engineering school in London that specialises in creating socially aware and globally focussed engineers with a distinctively strong design and entrepreneurship skillset.
Attract and empower a highly diverse body of students, giving them the skills to solve complex contemporary challenges, while providing employers with job-ready graduates through a flexible learning programme.
Offer a curriculum co-designed and co-delivered by employers.
Offer a culture and pedagogy that puts the employability of students first.
Be located within a commercial and public sector eco-system in the centre of London.
Establish over time student population with a gender balance of 50/50 and a domestic/international mix. Our employees will be equally as diverse.

Why TEDI-London?
A range of analyses, including the Working Futures 2012-2022 report, and forecasts on the number and type of engineering graduates in the UK by the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA), show that the UK will not produce enough engineers to fill expected employment demands by 2022. This shortage in engineering skills is reflected in other major reports including one from Engineering UK, which concludes that the UK will experience annual shortfalls of at least 20,000 engineers. The Royal Academy of Engineering is strongly urging the UK to develop a digitally-driven and data-enabled economy. About 8% of engineering undergraduates in the UK are women, and the UK has the lowest percentage of female engineering professionals in the EU.
Market research indicates that positioning engineering in a social context is attractive to non-traditional engineering prospects. Your Role
The Digital Product Manager will ensure an innovative, efficient and effective delivery of digital products and services to TEDI-London in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
The primary aim is the development and implementation of digital product roadmaps to ensure that TEDI-London has digital capability to meet its needs now and in the future.
These roadmaps will encompass digital products for marketing and communications, the student digital experience and staff collaboration, including; TEDI-London website, online transactions, CRM and marketing, student information as well as services related to teaching and learning.
Your role will be pivotal in driving the success of the TEDI-London brand and the student experience ensuring that we can realise our ambitions.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

Leading the development and management of digital product roadmaps in line with the digital strategy. 
Ensure delivery of digital products to support business operations and student experience - utilising user research and market intelligence for best outcomes. 
Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that business needs and drivers are understood. 
Manage internal and external technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure the most effective delivery of digital products - utilising Agile delivery methods wherever possible. 
Maintain a focus on user needs at all times, ensuring that user feedback is incorporated seamlessly into future feature development.   
Leading the development of opportunities to improve organisational processes, utilising technical solutions and removing duplication wherever possible. 
Ensure that digital products meet required standards  and regulations, including those related to GDPR. 
Work constructively with external suppliers, building partnerships to ensure positive outcomes. 
To deputise for the Head of IT Development in their absence. 
You may be required to manage a number of staff - both employees and contractors as we develop as an organisation

About You
Relevant Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Relevant undergraduate degree or equivalent professional training and certification.
Proven experience of leading a digital Product Management function.
Experience from one or more of the following backgrounds: education, government, eCommerce, digital customer service, fundraising.
Website, CRM integration and eCRM management expertise.
Proven success in identifying, measuring and evaluating performance metrics.
Possess an excellent understanding of UX / User Experience, product roadmaps, KPO/KPI setting, performance evaluation, benefits analysis, customer research.
Experience in product roadmap development.
Have a technical background and the ability to work ‘hands on' when required.
Directly managed a team, third party contractors and outsourced contract providers.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills

Good interpersonal skills, with a track record of forming excellent long-term working relationships with technical and non-technical colleagues.
Able to write and deliver technical presentations appropriate to the audience.
Ability to work under own initiative, including the confidence and ability to represent IT Services when needed.

Additional Criteria  

A thorough understanding of the regulations and legislation relating to IT and the implications of non-compliance.   
Discreet and able to identify the need for the protection  of confidentiality. 


Experience in M365 Products and Services - Dynamics 365, SharePoint and Teams. 
Experience in developing and implementing student lifecycle and student experience digital products. 
Experience in change management and data management. 
A broad understanding of higher education and processes within the sector. 
Microsoft Certification.
ITIL qualified at Foundation Level. 
KANBAN / Scrum.
