The Company:One of Ireland's largest businesses are looking for a Project Manager to join their IT Department. Ideally the candidate will come from a software development background. However, this is completely flexible, once the candidate has worked as a Project Manager in an IT Environment this is fine. The client is very well known and has over 250 branches throughout Ireland and the UK. The Role:They require a Project Manager to see over a portfolio of projects for their in store and online applications. The successful candidate will hold responsibility for managing teams that will be responsible for the development of creating vibrant and functional applications. The Progression:If you would like to lead a team or progress into an architectural role, this is a great opportunity for you. From the start you will take ownership and responsibility of your work. The company have never hired a Team Lead or Architect as they feel they are able to progress developers into these kind of roles. Progression is a big policy for this company and this has allowed them to be included in Ireland's top 20 places to work. You will be managing teams consisting of design, development, infrastructure, architect and database specialists.The Candidate:The successful candidate will have experience delivering projects within and IT and development environment. Experience of working in a major company is beneficial. You will be managing stakeholders so the company are looking for someone who is comfortable to do so. Knowledge of software development is very beneficial as you will be liaising with developers and engineers. Overall, the company is looking for an experienced Project Manager who is able to meet deadlines, influence key decisions and deliver projects efficiently.
