About you 

You're a good communicator. You are expected to have pre-sales sense (better experience) and delivery experience in solution crafting, building demonstrations, estimates, proposal development, client presentations.

You know how to bring out the best in your colleagues and to help them to excellence in customer service and business. Your analytical skills mean that you're a good problem solver, and you know how to make the most of business opportunities from end to end.

As an Architect on Data Platform Modernization, you're at home in presales activities and delivery excellent, including public presentations, workshops, estimations, POC (Proof of Concept) and solution's shape and delivery. You know which solution is the right one for the project, working closely with delivery and bid teams, and you make sure that the information captured during analysis and design phases with clients becomes actions.

Day-to-day, you will:

Work in all aspects of sales, including demonstrations and proof of concepts

Work in projects to provide delivery excellence

Develop and maintain a data and analytics structure that brings insight and analysis

Collaborate with users to find improvement points for better data utilization

Develop and streamline processes for data flow and quality to improve accuracy, viability and value

Recruiting support on data & AI Market Unit

Travel as needed.

Your background and skills include

Relational and semi-relational structured data experience

Strong data skills on ETL, analytics or BI based on Microsoft stack

Azure data platform experience on SQL DB, Cosmos DB, Databricks, Power BI etc.

Good understand big data architecture (Lambda) and know well on Azure stream / batch platforms and process

Good big data knowledge and practice (on-prem, AWS, Azure) is preferred

Advantage Analytics knowledge and practice on machine learning / AI is nice to have

Platforms and Tools experience (Microsoft or Non-Microsoft) on Azure cloud, Power BI, R, Hive, Pig, Python, Spark, Hadoop, Mongo, Cassandra etc.

Business intelligence consulting and client-facing experience

You probably have around 8 years of consulting experience in implementing and delivering data and analytics solutions. Your education is likely to include a bachelor's degree in computer science or the equivalent.

As is the nature of working within a global professional services environment, your clients and projects will change over time so the flexibility to travel is a pre-requisite. All our roles are project based so typically will involve working on client site throughout the Ireland. You can expect up to 80% travel as well as periods working on a dedicated client site.
