Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Microsoft Windows Citrix VMWare). Leading UK technology services provider that specialise in finance markets is seeking a skilled Windows Infrastructure Engineer.

As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer your key responsibilities will be to provide BAU 3^rd line support in line with ITIL incident, Problem and Change processes; you'll be dealing with escalations from 1^st / 2^nd line service desk teams and leading the initial technical response and triage of major incidents. Much of your work will focus on Virtualisation (Citrix / VMWare / XenApp); you'll have the opportunity and support to become a virtualisation expert.

Requirements:

Strong Infrastructure Engineer with 3^rd line support experience

Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Windows technology stack including Active Directory, Desktop, Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange

Virtualisation experience with Citrix and / or VMWare

Excellent communication skills and client facing ability
