A client of Spring Technologies are currently recruiting for a Business Analyst

Based in Edinburgh on an initial 6 Month contract.

Main responsibilities

*Ability to investigate, analyse, visualise, articulate and solve for complex problems and concepts, making evidence based recommendations using structured analysis techniques

*Provide constructive challenge where appropriate and be compelling and persuasive when challenging or providing recommendations

*Understand users and can identify who they are and what their needs are based on evidence

*Work as part of cross-functional agile delivery teams to elicit, document and assist in prioritising requirements

Skills and experience

*Demonstrably Have Applied Structured Analysis Techniques Such As Value Stream Mapping, Bpmn Process Or Capability Modelling

*Excellent Teamwork, Oral, Written And Presentational Skills

*Experience As A Business Analyst In The Public Or Commercial Sector

*Ability To Be Advisory In The Application Of Business Analysis Techniques As They Relate Agile Delivery Frameworks And Techniques

*An Evidence Driven And Value Driven Mind-Set To Gather The Data Necessary To Propose And Seek Consensus On Business Improvements

*The Ability To Be Persuasive In Presenting Recommendations

*The Ability To Evaluate And Analyse Information

*The Resilience To Work Under Pressure With Many Unknowns

*A Focus On Cost And Value At The Heart Of Your Proposed Solutions

*A Working Knowledge Of Specification By Example Techniques

*A Working Knowledge And Some Experience In Change Management
