Data Analyst/Architect

Location - North Yorkshire

Duration - 6 Months +

Rate - £250 - £300

IR35 - Outside

One of our Public sector clients is looking for a solid Data Analyst for initially 6 months, the ideal candidate will be immediately available and have 4+ years experience.

Ideally we are looking for a contractor to undertake the following;

*Define the target data model and data dictionary.

*Document the current data model and dictionary, determining any gaps between the existing and target model.

*Define data mapping requirements from legacy (existing) systems to the new ERP system.

*Define an approach to address data gaps, ensuring that future technical debt is kept to a minimum.

*Assess the quality of the current data and determine remedial work required.

*Develop and define the data migration strategy and roadmap.

*Work with our architects, define data integration requirements and designs, including operational support for ETL activities.

*Support data on boarding throughout the project.

*Define data governance and assurance mechanisms to ensure ongoing data quality.

*Ensure that the management of data complies with University policies (e.g. GDPR).

*Ensure that there are clear data retention and archiving policies are agreed and corresponding procedures are in place.
